TASÀLA cabana is located just 40 minutes from Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport and only 10 minutes from Tha Sala District town. We are located by the secluded sea-side of Baan Roh beach in Thasala a small district, in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern part of Thailand. Also known as Ligor by ancient Portuguese merchants as well as Muang Khon by the local or simply NaKhorn for short.

Local Market
There are a few local market around the hotel which offers local food as well as produce on Wednesdays morning as well as Sunday morning or if you would like to relax and hang out the weekends evening market would be a perfect place to be located only a few minute drive away. * Please contact our front office for more information.
Wat Jae dee
One of Nakhon Si Thamarat most well know temple, located 30 minutes away from the hotel, in Bann Hin. Wat Jae Dee (pronounce J D) also known as “The Chicken temple” is the home to “Ta Kai” a statue believed to grant wishes of all sorts, very famous to local and tourist alike. People from all over Thailand would come and pay respect to “Ta Kai” hoping to get their wishes grant, such a spectacular sight to see.
Wat Yang Yhai
Another famous temple around our hotel, located only 10 minutes drive away, the temple was also a place where people from all over Thailand come and pay respect to
“Ta Phran Boon” another wish grating statue.
Khao Nun waterfall
Not only the beach, there are water fall as well as hiking trail close to our hotel. Half an hour drive up Khao Nun, there is a short hiking trail to a stunning water fall, perfect for those who would like to spend time on the trail. The best time to visit Khao Nun water fall would be during the beginning of rainy season (July-September), entrance fee is collect at the gate before entering the trail.
Wat Phra Tat
Roughly an hour drive to the city of Nakhorn Si Thammarat, located within the heart of the city lies Wat Phra Mahathat most iconic temple. Wat Phra Mahathat is consider the most respected temple in Nakhorn Si Thammarat, so much so that there is a saying “Not visiting Wat Phra Mahathat mean not truly visit Nakhon"
Wat Phaisan Satit
For those who wish to be lucky in love, Wat Phaisan Satit is a mandatory destination. Located at Pak Pha-ying district, Wat Phaisan Satit is home to “Loang Por Pak Dang” (translate as red lip Bhudda statue) famous for granting love related wish. Khee-ri-wong village
Need a breath of fresh air? Khee-ri-wong village is a place to go. Despite the long drive (2 hours+) up the mountain, Khee-ri-wong village has one of the most ozone saturated air in Thailand. So much so you can feel the different between the dense heavy air and the ozone rich one. A huge lungful of the air in Khee-ri-wong village will definitely took away all your tiredness.
Kho Plai Dum Cliffside route/ Khanom beach
Name the most scenic driving route in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Kho Plai Dum Cliffside route is often visit by visitor coming to Nakhon Si Thammarat, the route will take you along the curvy Cliffside of Khao Plai Dum leading to one other top tourist destination “Khanom Beach” be sure to visit this location if you would like an opportunity for a breath taking view.
